May is Military Appreciation Month and military members and their families can expect to find a great deal of promotions dedicated to them.

As the weather gets warmer we can only assume that those of you who love theme parks will want to know how you can take your family and save a few coins too.

We’ve scoured the web for theme parks and attractions nationwide offers special savings to military this May. Deals with an * are open to honorably discharged veterans with proper ID.

 

*Carowinds-North Carolina

If you’re stationed at Fort Bragg, Camp Lejeune or a short drive away then you’ll want to add Paramount’s Carowinds to your must visit list.

“On May 26 & May 27, we will waive the regular admission fee for active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with honorable or medical discharge and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. On regular days military can gain admission for $39.99 and they even have a gold pass special which you can make payments on.

Kings Dominion-Virginia

May 25th-27th (Memorial Day Weekend) Active Duty and retired military member can enjoy free admission at Kings Dominion. Dependents can purchase tickets for $39.99 online . Guests will enjoy a spectacular fireworks show, water rides and patriotic music.

*Stone Mountain Park

Is currently offering 30% off daily “all attraction passes” to military. Military can get tickets for $24.95 per person (normally $34.95). This offer is open to active and retired military, disabled veterans, and military reservists, spouses and dependents when valid military personnel IDs and dependent IDs are presented. Children under 2 are free.

California’s Great America

May 25th-27th is offering free admission to Active Duty and Retired military. In addition they can purchase up to 6 extra tickets for friends and family for just $24 (normally $39.99).

*Dorney Park

Enjoy a combination of water and thrill rides. May 26th and 27th AD, Retirees and Vets receive free admission. They can purchase up to 6 tickets for friends and family for $29 (normally $34.99).

*Legoland Florida

Active Duty military receive free admission. Vets can purchase discount tickets on post.

Free Museum Entry For Military 

Don’t forget every year from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day Blue Star families partners with over 2,000+ museums nationwide to allow free entry to military and their families. They will be announcing the museum list soon here.

Worlds Of Fun/Oceans of Fun-Kansas City, Missouri

Active Duty and Veterans both receive free admission on May 18th and May 27th. You can also purchase additional tickets for up to 6 family and friends .
