These days, the choice is no longer whether to get rid of cable but what streaming services to have.
As cable service slowly begins to fade, Americans are now presented with many streaming services. Initially, it seemed incredible to have any content you wanted with the click of a remote. However, the influx of streaming services has also caused many to reassess the number of subscriptions they have and look for the best deals.
The choice may be a little easier for military families as several streaming services offer exclusive military discounts. We’ve listed them below for you.
Apple TV
For military fans of Apple series such as The Morning Show, Ted Lasso, and See, you’ll be glad to know military personnel and Veterans receive a 10% military discount on all Apple products including Apple TV which costs $4.99 per month. Details here.
Comcast Xfinity
Comcast Xfinity service offers military personnel and veterans a “$25 Xfinity coupon that can be used toward your next Xfinity On Demand rental or purchase or as a credit toward your bill. If you’re an Obi-Wan Kinobi fan or love Disney movies, you’ll be excited to learn that the Exchange has teamed up with Disney+ to offer a 25% military discount off their annual subscription. The yearly subscription is usually $79.99, and with the deal, you’ll save close to $20. Details here.
Discovery+
The definitive non-fiction, real-life subscription streaming service from Warner Bros. Discovery, discovery+ is now available to the military with a 40% off discount at the reduced rate of $2.99 per month. The promotion is open to active-duty military, military spouses, reservists, and veterans in the U.S., as well as armed forces, active military, reservists, and veterans in Canada, in each case, whose status has been verified. There’s been some confusion surrounding a 10% military discount that Hulu and the military Exchange have partnered on. Many have stated trouble getting it, but we suggest emailing hulu@military.com. MLB TV
MLB.TV has partnered with GovX to offer military personnel and first responders 35% off an MLB TV yearly all teams or Single Team subscription. Sign up here.
