Who doesn’t love a good roller coaster, haunted house, or theme park food? With the travel season around the corner, the Retail Salute team compiled this list of military discounts for theme parks around the country.
These are listed in no particular order.

Disney World- Orlando, FL
Of course we had to list this one. It’s one of the top discounts and many people still don’t know about it (shockingly). Disney offers the “Armed Forces” Salute which gives military personnel and their family a 4 day park hopper ticket for $196. Disneyland- Anaheim, CA
“Disneyland Resort is saluting active and retired U.S. military personnel by offering Military Promotional 3-Day Park Hopper Tickets. You can visit both theme parks each day of your ticket! Purchase through December 16, 2016 — and receive admission on any 3 days for just $143″. Details HERE.
Knottsberry Farms-Buena Park, California
Save over $30 off the gate price and purchase a ticket to this fun theme park in California for $44. Additionally from the end of Nov through December Knotsberry offers an additional promo for military members and dependents. Learn more HERE.
Stone Mountain Park- Stone Mountain, Georgia
Visit this fun park with a actual Stone Mountain Rock thats over 825 feet tall and plenty of rides, shows and historic exhibits. Military and immediate family members can receive a discount off their Adventure Park Pass when purchasing tickets at the gate. Details of discount located HERE in the FAQ’s.
Universal Orlando/Hollywood- Orlando, FL/Hollywood, CA
Military can purchase a package for $299 per person that includes a hotel stay and a 1 day park to park ticket with 2 days plus more. See the official package HERE. Visit your local ITT military office to find out about deals at Universal Hollywood for military.
Six Flags Theme Parks- National
Most Six Flags Parks offer a military promotion. Six Flags Great America offer 20% off a general park ticket here. Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles offers $8 off tickets for military here.
Carowinds – Charlotte, North Carolina
“Active or retired members of the United States Armed Forces receive a discount off of the rack rate on campsites and cabins at Camp Wilderness”. Carowinds also offers military days on select dates throughout the year. Details HERE.
Legoland California- Carlsbad, CA
Military receive $18 off admission plus a 2nd day visit free. Stay at one of their resorts and receive up to 30% off plus a 2nd day free. Official details HERE.
Hershey’s Park-Hershey, PA
Imagine visiting a world full of chocolate literally. On April 17th military are invited to a semi private event in which they can purchase tickets in advance for $25 and at the gate for $30. “Hershey® Lodge is offering special military rates starting at $149 – Plus applicable taxes. Receive 20% off sites and cabins at HersheyparkSM Camping Resort from April 15-17, 2016. Dollywood- Pigeon Forge, TN
US Military and their dependents receive a special rate on regular theme park and water park admission when they present valid ID. Full details HERE.
SeaWorld Parks- Nationwide
Of course we had to remind you about the Waves of Honor program in which military and up to 3 dependents receive free admission to SeaWorld Parks. These parks include SeaWorld, Sesame Park, and Busch Gardens parks. They also have a Veteran’s Promotion as well. Full official details are available HERE.
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom- Allentown, PA
Dorney Park’s Tribute to the Armed Forces program will offer a free regular admission ticket to any active or retired military personnel Memorial Day weekend (May 23-25) and Fourth of July (July 3-5). Details HERE.
Kings Dominion
Offers Military Appreciation Days on select dates. Other parks like Carowinds which are also part of the Cedar Fair Parks family offer these as well.
Great Wolf Lodge Resorts- Nationwide
