Memorial Day is a day to remember the fallen as well as cherish and create memories with your own military families as we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Many amusement parks and attractions are offering military personnel and their families discounts and in some cases free admission. Another perk is some of these deals are open to honorably discharged vets too. In no particular order, we’ve created a list of Memorial Day deals for Military below. Be sure to check keep checking back as this list will be updated all weekend.

North

Mystic Aquarium– Connecticut: As a thank you to United States military personnel for their service to our country, Mystic Aquarium is offering FREE admission for U.S. Military Veterans and Active-Duty Service Members May 26 to 28 with Military ID.

Dutch Wonderland– Pennsylvania: Active and retired military personnel receive FREE admission on Memorial Day (May 28, 2018). Free admission is valid only on May 28, 2018 for individuals who present a valid Military ID, and not for their accompanying party. Complimentary admission is available at the gate only.

Camelbeach-Pennsylvania: Camelback Resort will be honoring the U.S. Armed Forces and their families with free, full-day admission to Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark from Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28, 2018. They will be eligible for a full-day free park admission with a valid Military I.D. and dependent card. Veterans with a DD-214 and/or an active driver’s license with veteran’s designation logo are also eligible for free full-day park admission. Plus, Camelbeach offers all active military members and their card-carrying dependents, as well as retired members, a discounted ticket rate of $37.00 all summer long.

Dorney Park- Pennsylvania: Is offering Military Days this Memorial Day weekend. Dorney Park’s Tribute to the Armed Forces program will offer a free regular admission ticket to any active or retired military personnel Memorial Day weekend (May 26-28) . In addition, military personnel can purchase up to 6 tickets (max) for $29.

Oregon Zoo– On Monday, May 28, the Oregon Zoo will welcome military veterans and their families, active military personnel and their families, and families of deployed military personnel into the zoo free of charge, thanks to the Walmart Foundation, which is using the holiday as a way to show its support for those who have served

South

Birmingham Zoo– is offering military personnel, retirees and Vets free admission 5/26-5/28. Must have valid military ID.

Carowinds-North Carolina: Get free park admission for active duty or retired service men and women from May 28th to May 29th.

Colonial Williamsburg-Virginia: honors American military service Memorial Day weekend May 25-28 with free admission tickets for active duty military, reservists, retirees, veterans, National Guard members and their immediate dependents thanks to a $100,000 grant from The Home Depot Foundation.

Kings Dominion-Virginia: May 26-28th Active Duty, Retired and Veterans with an honorable or medical discharge receive free admission when they present a DD-214 or a gov issued id.

Miami Seaquarium- Military Personnel, Vets and other gov employees receive free admission through Monday with proper ID. Their families (up to 4 people) receive 50% off admission. Details here.

SeaWorld Parks– For years Waves of Honor has extended free admission to military personnel and their families. Veterans and their families normally receive 50% off . From May 24 to July 4, 2018, U.S. veterans and up to three guests may enjoy free admission to SeaWorld Orlando, SeaWorld San Antonio, SeaWorld San Diego, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay or Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Veterans must redeem their complimentary single-day ticket(s) online at www.WavesofHonor.com, and the free tickets are available online only (not available at the front gate for each park).

Virginia Aquarium– Anyone with a valid military ID receives 50% off admission on Sunday and Mondays in May.

 

Midwest

Worlds of Fun-Missouri:  Worlds of Fun wants to thank the men and women who have served and who are currently serving in our country’s military. Veterans of the American Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard receive complimentary admission to Worlds of Fun on Memorial Day (Monday, May 28, 2018).

Silverwood Theme Park– American Heroes Weekend May 26, 27, & 28 2018 – All military personnel, veterans, police officers and firefighters (identification required) Receive FREE admission to the park on these special event days and their immediate family members (spouse and children) also receive a special discounted rate.

West Coast

Great America-California:  All active or retired military members will receive free admission to Great America on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend. Just show valid ID at the ticket booths to participate in our military salute.

Oregon Zoo– On Monday, May 28, the Oregon Zoo will welcome military veterans and their families, active military personnel and their families, and families of deployed military personnel into the zoo free of charge, thanks to the Walmart Foundation, which is using the holiday as a way to show its support for those who have served.

Nationwide

Blue Star Museums–  Free admission for Active Duty service members including National Guard and reserve as well as their families to over 2,000 museums in all 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico, and American Samoa.

Annual National Parks Pass– Military Personnel includes Reserves and National Guard receive a free annual pass. Veterans with a permanent disability receive an Access Pass.

Food

Hooters is saying “Thank You” to all veterans and active-duty military personnel by offering a complimentary meal on Memorial Day. Current and former U.S. military members can enjoy a free entrée from Hooters Memorial Day Menu by presenting a valid military ID at participating Hooters locations nationwide

Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub– All veterans and active duty military are invited to be their guests on Memorial Day, Monday, 5/28/18. Purchase any meal and enjoy a free entrée from our 9 Real Size Entrées for $9.99 Menu. Just present your proof of service.

Perkins Restaurants– Veterans and active military get a free Magnificent 7 breakfast—that’s three pancakes, two eggs, and two strips of bacon or sausages—at participating locations on May 28.

Mission BBQ- The barbecue chain is offering military personnel free sandwiches each day in the week leading up to Memorial Day.

McCormick & Schmick’s– Gold Star parents and spouses, veterans, and active members of the military and National Guard get a free entrée on May 28.

Texas De Brazil – Is offering 50% off to Military personnel and Veterans. Up to 7 accompanying guest will receive 20% off as well.

Retail

Ace Hardware– Military receive a free 8×12 in flag in honor of Memorial Day this Saturday 5/26 at Ace Hardware stores nationwide.

Walgreens– To honor the service and sacrifices of Americans who served in the armed forces, Walgreens is offering a Memorial Day 20-percent discount to all veterans, active duty military personnel and their immediate family members, including the families of those who lost their lives in service to our country.

Food Lion– Is offering military personnel 10% of their grocery bill on Monday May 28th.

Sleep Number– Military receive an additional $100 off any sale pricing.

Fresh Market- Is offering 10% off to military on purchases today in store.
