Atlanta

Georgia Aquarium: Offers substantial savings on general admission tickets for military families (20%) when tickets are purchased through your local base’s ITT or MWR office.

Six Flags Over GA: While it doesn’t appear they offer a daily discount Six Flags Over GA makes up for that with Military Appreciation Days. On select days (August 2016) military members can get in for free along with up to 3 dependents. Additional family members can join in the fun by receiving 50% off their admission. Even if your spouse is deployed as long as you have a military ID you can still take advantage of this offer. Learn more HERE.

SkyView Atlanta: At over 20 stories tall, visitors can get breathtaking and panoramic views from one of the gandolas on this huge ferris wheel which hangs over Centennial Park. They offer a small military discount off their normal ticket price of $13.89 for adults 12+ which you can learn more about HERE.

High Museum of Art: Explore some of the top exhibits touring the US including “I See A Story: The Art of Eric Carle”. That’s a blast back to your childhood. Ad military plus one guest receive free admission plus free parking.

Dawsonville

Pine Mountain

Pine Mountain Safari: Enjoy driving through a real life Safari and even feeding some of the animals (from your car of course). You can rent a van from them to drive through (its inexpensive) or you can use your own car. Military receive a discount of $2 off. Retail Salute creator Krystel Spell went there on her husband’s first R&R home and they had a blast with the exception of a couple of animals sticking their heads to close into the car!
