Bob Evans

Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from a select menu on November 11 with seven farm-fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes to choose from. This year’s offering is a continuation of the company’s support of current and former members of the military and a way to pay homage to the life and legacy of founder, Bob Evans, a military veteran himself, who always appreciated and recognized the importance of a homecooked meal.

Black Angus Steakhouse

From restaurant open until close—3-9pm local time—on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11, Black Angus Steakhouses will offer veterans the All-American Steak Plate for just $11.99 (regularly priced around $23.99). Available for restaurant dining and takeaway orders, participating guests can expect an 8 oz. Certified Angus Beef Top Sirloin, home-style mashed potatoes, broccoli with garlic butter and a non-alcoholic beverage. All military personnel who produce a valid military ID or proof of military service are eligible to receive this special offer. Takeaway orders can be made by calling the restaurant directly.

Bonefish Grill

Bonefish Grill is honoring and thanking the brave for all they do by offering a Heroes Discount offering 10% off all service members, veterans and first responders’ checks all day, every day with show of valid ID.

Veterans get 20% off on November 11 when they dine in.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Veterans and active-duty service members get a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries on November 11. The offer is available for dine-in or takeout.

Charleys Philly Steaks

Tis restaurant will be giving away free small and regular cheesesteaks to all Veterans and Active Duty Military on Thursday, Nov. 11. This offer will be taking place at domestic non-AAFES locations only. Customers must visit the store in-person to claim. ID or proof of service is required to be eligible for this promotion.

Chicken Salad Chick

On Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021, Chicken Salad Chick will be offering a free Chick Special and regular drink to Veterans and active-duty military with a uniform or military ID.


Veterans and active-duty service members get a free meal from a select menu on November 11. You can choose from options like chicken crispers, cajun chicken pasta and an oldtimer burger with cheese. This offer is available for dine-in only.

Cicis Pizza

Cicis Pizza is offering a free adult buffet with a valid military I.D. on November 11 in honor of Veteran’s Day.

Cracker Barrel

Veterans and active duty military could enjoy a free slice of the Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake last year on Veterans Day. Also, the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store donated a $10 gift card to Operation Homefront for every Country Fried Turkey Family Meal Basket that was sold in November. They will likely bring this deal back!

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

On November 11, 2020, veterans could stop in-store at their local participating Dickey’s for a free Pulled Pork Classic Sandwich. To redeem, they just had to present a military ID or valid proof of service. In honor of Veterans Day, from November 9–15, 2020, when guests made a purchase through Dickeys.com or the Dickey’s App, they had the option to add one, five or 10 Pulled Pork Classic Sandwiches to be delivered to local veteran organizations. Plus, the Dickey’s family pledged to match every sandwich donated to double the efforts to feed veterans! Look out for this years deal!

Einstein Bros. Bagels

Einstein Bros. Bagels is offering a free hot or iced coffee of any size with purchase when veterans show their ID inside each bakery location, excluding license stores inside colleges, hospitals, airports and hotels. 

Farmer Boys

Farmer Boys is showing appreciation to local veterans and active duty military by offering a free Big Cheese at all participating locations on November 11. This offer is valid in the drive-thru, for carryout and via phone orders. Military personnel must mention the offer and show proof of service when ordering their Big Cheese.

Fogo de Chão

The Brazilian steakhouse is offering all veterans and active duty personnel 50% off their entire meal on Veterans Day at all U.S. and Puerto Rico locations. Plus, each veteran or active duty guest can receive 10% off the meals of up to three additional guests. (Note: Valid military ID required, and this isn’t valid toward To-Go, Butcher Shop or Catering. Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Veterans and active-duty military who visit a Freddy’s on November 11 can get a free combo meal card good through November 30.


On Veterans Day, all former or active military personnel can receive a free All-American meal (All-American Burger with a side of fries and a drink) for lunch or dinner. Bonus: You can make it a cheeseburger for free. This offer is dine-in only.

Golden Corral

This year, Golden Corral is offering free meal to all active duty and veterans on Thursday, Nov. 11.


All veterans and active-duty military get a free entrée from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu with a purchase of a beverage on November 11. Veterans just need to present a military ID or proof of service at participating Hooters locations nationwide to be eligible.

Krispy Kreme

Veterans get a free doughnut of choice and coffee on Veterans Day, plus first responders can get a free Original Glazed Doughnut and brewed coffee on Oct. 28.

LaMar’s Donuts

Veterans and active-duty military get a free donut and 12-ounce coffee at participating locations on November 11.

Logan’s Roadhouse 

On November 11, Logan’s Roadhouse is inviting all active duty and retired U.S. military personnel to enjoy a free meal between 3–6 p.m. from the American Roadhouse menu at participating Logan’s Roadhouse restaurants nationwide.

Metro Diner

Hello, comfort food! Metro Diner, known as the place where the locals eat, is offering 50% off to active and retired military with valid military ID on Veterans Day and 10% off year round. Diners can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner including their signature Fried Chicken & Waffles, variety of burgers and their newest Herb-Roasted Chicken – a bone-in half chicken marinated fresh daily in a blend of special herbs and spices and oven roasted to tender perfection, served with sweet potato mash and steamed green beans.

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants

Veterans, National Guard, Gold Star parents and Gold Star Spouses can enjoy a half-priced entrée from a special menu on November 7. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza

They are offering a “Buy One, Get One $5 Off Large Pizza” offer with promo code VetBOGO. The offer is available via Mountain Mike’s app and website and is valid on Nov. 11 only. 

Outback Steakhouse

Get a free Bloomin’ Onion and Coke product if you’re an active or retired military member on Veterans Day. Also note that Outback Steakhouse offers a heroes discount daily—all servicemen and women, police officers, firefighters and first responders get 10% off their entire check all day, everyday with a valid state or federal service ID.

Pie Five Pizza 

This Veterans Day, participating Pie Five Pizza locations are giving out a free personal pizza to all active or retired members of the military, and current or past members of the Armed Forces or Department of Defense with proof of ID. This offer is valid in-store only at participating locations.

Pilot Flying J

In celebration of Veterans Day, from Nov. 8–11, Pilot Flying J will offer all veterans one free breakfast combo (valid at participating U.S. Pilot and Flying J Travel Centers). This combo includes one free breakfast offering, such as a French toast sausage or egg and cheese sandwich. The Veterans Day Breakfast Combo offer is available through the Pilot Flying J app. As part of the company’s long history of giving back, Pilot Flying J is also donating $100,000 to the Call of Duty Endowment to help veterans transition to successful careers after the military!


On Veterans Day, Qdoba will be offering active military and veterans 50% off any entree. This deal is available in-store only.

Red Lobster

In honor of Veterans Day, Red Lobster is offering a free appetizer or dessert to veterans, active duty military and reservists with a valid military ID on Nov. 11. Just show a valid military ID or proof of service to redeem your freebie.

Red Robin

Veterans and active-duty military who are Red Robin Royalty members can redeem a free Tavern Double Burger with Steak Fries between Nov. 11 and 14 for dine-in or to-go.

Romano’s Macaroni Grill

Macaroni Grill is coming in hot with a free Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs + Spaghetti entrée this Veterans Day at all U.S. locations. All veterans and active military can present their military ID or other proof of service while dining in or carrying out. (Note: Not valid on delivery.)

The Rustic

The Rustic is offering free Rustic Burgers for all veterans and active military with a valid ID on Nov. 11.

Sonny’s BBQ

Sonny’s BBQ has two special activations for Veteran’s Day aimed at recognizing and honoring those that have served or are serving:

  • Sonny’s BBQ is currently collecting nominations for veterans and active-duty military personnel to receive a Random Act of BBQ. The mission of this program is to celebrate our community members, like our troops, that selflessly give their time and talent to others with little recognition in return. On Veterans Day, all members of the military (veteran, retired or active) can receive a free 20-ounce smoothie of your choosing at any of the participating Smoothie King locations nationwide (in-store only). To redeem, show your valid military ID or proof of service.

Taco John’s

On Nov. 11, Taco John’s is giving away a free small Beef #1 Combo Meal to all active, reserve, retired and honorably discharged members of the U.S. military. From open to close, military personnel can redeem the offer in their Taco John’s App by entering the promo code “VETERAN” under the “More” tab. No purchase necessary, and no substitutions permitted.

Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal on Nov. 11. This is for dine-in only.

TGI Fridays

Veterans and Active-Duty Personnel will have the opportunity to enjoy a free lunch – like a cheeseburger and fries, crispy chicken fingers and fries or half-rack big ribs and fries – for free! This deal is valid from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at participating locations with a valid military ID.

This Veterans Day, Nov. 11, Wendy’s is celebrating and saying “Thank You” to America’s active military and veterans with a free small breakfast combo. Simple show a valid military ID in-restaurant or at the drive-thru to enjoy a morning meal on Wendy’s.

This hotel chain offers low discount hotel rates based on U.S. government per diem for military personnel traveling on official business or leisure. Book online or call 1-800-WESTERN. You’ll need to present an official identification card or work orders at time of check in.

Great Clips Free Haircut

On Veterans Day, all customers who go to a U.S. Great Clips salon for a cut will receive a free haircut card to give to an active/inactive/retired military member. Veterans can also visit any U.S. Great Clips salon on Nov. 11 to get a free haircut that day or a free haircut card to use later. Great Clips salons provided nearly 100,000 free haircuts to military service members in 2020. This contributed to the over 1.6 million free haircuts provided since the program started in 2013!


If you’re an active or retired military service member, you’ll get 10% off full-price tickets for you and your family when purchased at the station, or a 10% discount if you have a Veterans Advantage card when purchased online or at the station.


Harley Davidson offers various military support benefits including special stateside military financing, including no down payment, reduced rates and flexible term options for active duty military personnel. Active duty personnel also get free delivery of clothing, accessories and more to wherever they are deployed.

The Home Depot

They offer a 10% discount to all military with a valid military ID on not just Veteran’s Day–they also extend the discount on Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.

Lowe’s gives veterans 10% off every day. Just sign up for a MyLowe’s account to verify your credentials.

Motel 6

All active and retired military personnel and their families can get up to a 10% discount on reservation rates year-round. Choose “Military” as your rate type during the reservation process and present a valid military ID at check-in.

National Park Service

Texas State Parks will waive day-use entry fees for everyone on Sunday, Nov. 11. In addition, current military members and dependents, Coast Guard, Reserve and National Guard members can get a free annual park pass by showing a Common Access Card or Military ID.

Rack Room Shoes

Military personnel and their dependents get 10% off their entire purchase on Veterans Day, Memorial Day and July Fourth.


All military personnel, veterans and their families get 10% off their purchases in-store or online from Oct. 31 through Nov. 13. After eligibility has been verified, guests can use the exclusive Target Circle offer in-store or online, available for two-time use.

True Rest Float Spa

On Thursday, Nov. 11, True Rest Float Spa will offer the True REST Veteran’s Day Float Spa Experience – a free, 60-minute float therapy session to any active-duty military member, reservist and/or veteran. All spa locations will close on Veterans Day to the public to serve active-duty and veterans, providing them with free float session in honor of their service.

World of Coca-Cola

Military members (active duty, reserves and retirees) can enjoy a visit to World of Coca-Cola free of charge year-round, but on Veterans Day, World of Coca-Cola wants to show some extra gratitude to the men and women who serve our country. From Friday, Nov. 5 to Sunday, Nov. 14, the Atlanta attraction is extending members of the Armed Forces a special offer to purchase up to four general admission tickets at half-price.

Members are invited to share a memorable visit to World of Coca-Cola with friends and family in honor of the holiday, complete with a stop by the recently launched Scent Discovery experience. Tickets can be purchased online here, and members will be asked to present their valid Armed Forces ID when they arrive at the attraction.
