Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from a select menu on November 11 with seven farm-fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes to choose from. This year’s offering is a continuation of the company’s support of current and former members of the military and a way to pay homage to the life and legacy of founder, Bob Evans, a military veteran himself, who always appreciated and recognized the importance of a homecooked meal.
From restaurant open until close—3-9pm local time—on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11, Black Angus Steakhouses will offer veterans the All-American Steak Plate for just $11.99 (regularly priced around $23.99). Available for restaurant dining and takeaway orders, participating guests can expect an 8 oz. Certified Angus Beef Top Sirloin, home-style mashed potatoes, broccoli with garlic butter and a non-alcoholic beverage. All military personnel who produce a valid military ID or proof of military service are eligible to receive this special offer. Takeaway orders can be made by calling the restaurant directly.
Bonefish Grill is honoring and thanking the brave for all they do by offering a Heroes Discount offering 10% off all service members, veterans and first responders’ checks all day, every day with show of valid ID.

On November 11, 2020, veterans could stop in-store at their local participating Dickey’s for a free Pulled Pork Classic Sandwich. To redeem, they just had to present a military ID or valid proof of service. In honor of Veterans Day, from November 9–15, 2020, when guests made a purchase through Dickeys.com or the Dickey’s App, they had the option to add one, five or 10 Pulled Pork Classic Sandwiches to be delivered to local veteran organizations. National Park Service
Texas State Parks will waive day-use entry fees for everyone on Sunday, Nov. 11. In addition, current military members and dependents, Coast Guard, Reserve and National Guard members can get a free annual park pass by showing a Common Access Card or Military ID.
