National Parks Military Free Pass
Background:
The National Park Service preserves and protects the United State’s natural and cultural treasures for future generations. It manages over 400 sites, including parks, monuments, and historic landmarks, promoting conservation and public enjoyment.
Military Free Pass:
The National Park Service offers free pass to their National Parks to the military community. The Military Annual Pass covers entrance fees and day-use fees, while the Military Lifetime Pass is available for veterans and Gold Star Families. These passes admit the pass holder and occupants of a single vehicle or up to three additional individuals.
Eligible:
- Active Duty Military and Immediate Family Members
- Veterans
- Gold Star Family Members
How to claim:
Passes can be obtained in person at federal recreation sites with valid identification or online through the USGS store for a $10 processing fee. Click the “Activate Deal” button for more details.
Restrictions:
These free passes do not cover extra fees beyond entrance or day-use fees. Additional amenities and services like guided tours or reservations are not discounted through these passes.
