The North Carolina Forest Service provides a 20% military discount on tree seedlings throughout November. Veterans, active military personnel, honorably discharged, or retired military personnel are all eligible for the discount. This discount, applicable to the first $500 of any new order, can save up to $100.
The initiative aims to show appreciation for military service and promote the upkeep of healthy forests. This move is part of a larger effort to support forestland owners who are veterans or currently serving in the military.
